Sección: ArtículosTítulo: A Case study of dermatitis based on a collaborative approach between occupational physicians and industrial hygienists / Lance Percival... [et al.]Notas: Sumario: This article describes a practical problem-solving procedure developed by industrial hygiene and medical personnel as applied to dermatological problem. The practices and procedures described should be applicable for the resolution of other occupational health problems. These procedures include the documentation of the nature and extent of the employee complaints and the assessment of the principle workplace exposures by the industrial hygienist. The industrial hygiene information can them be used by the physicians when conducting physical examinations of the affected workers and applying appropiate medical tests. The sum of all data can finally be used to make a diagnosis and define causality for each worker. If causality is found to be occupationally related, the work situation can then be rectifiedRegistros relacionados: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 56, nº 2, February 1995 ; p. 184-188Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrialEnfermedades profesionalesDermatitisMedicina laboralMétodos de análisisTestsOtros autores: Percival, Lance Títulos secundarios: Título: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal Otras clasificaciones: 872Derechos: In Copyright (InC)
