Sumario: The psychophysical lifting capacity (MAWL) of twelve subjects was determined in this study. The subjects were all young Chinese males who performanced lifting tasks in three liftings ranges and four lifting frequencies. The objectives of this study were to collect and establish the MAWL for a Chinese population using the psychophysical approach
