Therfore, knowledge of their aerobic capacity can be of great practical importance in determining the fitness-demand compatibility and organizing work and work methods to ensure optimal performance with least physical effort and fatigue. Accordingly, a study was undertaken to determine the aerobic capacity of a section of the female population residing in the metropolitan city of Bombay</subfield>
