<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The aims of the present study were to measure firstly the urinary neutral endopeptidase concentrations in workers occupationally exposed to cadmium and in age matched controls. Secondly, the authors related the neutral endopeptidase concentrations enzymuria profile to urinary cadmium excretion and compared in with other glomerular and tubular makers. Finally, a possible effect of tobacco was investigated on all the markers tested</abstract>
