Notas: A survey of all building-fires in the canton of Berne for the period of 1986 to 1995 was performed by the ETH (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule, Zürich) and the GVB (Gebäudeversicherung des Kantons Bern) to establish a statistical database for fire safety engineering.
