<abstract>La permanencia de pie prolongada sobre superficies duras puede producir varios problemas. En primer lugar, esta postura hace que los músculos se contraigan, lo cual causa una disminución de la circulación sanguínea. Además, la permanencia de pie ocasiona pronación o aplanamiento extenso del pie. Si bien esta postura puede generar simple fatiga y un poco de dolor, tambíen puede provocar fascitis plantar y otras alteraciones serias.
