<abstract>Dentro de las diferentes operaciones que se realizan en las instalaciones industriales, una de las que presenta mayor nivel de riesgo es aquella en que se podrían generar focos de ignición en atmosferas potencialmente explosivas. En multitud de empresas se es consciente de este riesgo, habiéndose implantado una serie de medidas preventivas enfocadas todas ellas principalmente en cuatro aspectos: medidas constructivas, medidas organizativas, medidas formativas e informativas, medidas de control reactivo. Todas estas medidas requieren un complemento Reglamentario que el autor revisa en este artículo</abstract>
