<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The insurance game is a business decision game involving all main functions and problems of insurance company management. The game can be played by up to 10 groups of participants. At the begin of the game each group takes over a simulated insurance company with its home office and field staff and its portfolios of insurances and securities. The companies write 3 lines of insurance in 3 different regions. A main problem for each company, therefore, is to allocate its resources between the lines and areas considering the market development and competition in the different lines and regions</abstract>
