<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Este artículo pretende exponer un problema que se presenta para la justificación de la resistencia al fuego de elementos de cerramiento, cuya solución no se obtiene fácilmente. Se trata de elementos de cerramiento de grandes dimensiones que deben justificar su resistencia al fuego, en cumplimiento con el Código Técnico de la Edificación, Documento Básico SI Seguridad en caso de incendio. Los elementos de cerramiento, actuando como separadores de los sectores de un incendio, deben justificar su resistencia al fuego mediante ensayos</abstract>
