Your starting point is the conviction that teleorganising can be a viable route to lead managers out of structural problems within the organisation, and in some cases towards new business opportunities. The book is in three parts. The early chapters trace the origins and evolution of conventional work practices, and highlight the pressures which point to its demise as the sole model for work organisation. The middle chapters explore existing teleschemes across a range of organisation types. The final chapters provide practical guidance on how to evaluate a teleproposal, how to get a scheme off the ground, and how to manage telework in the long haul when the honeymoon period is over</abstract>
