<abstract displayLabel="Summary">España es el país con mayor número de bajas laborales de la Unión Europea, según el informe Adecco sobre absentismo presentado en 2012. El absentismo es superior en aquellos países en los que la cobertura por enfermedad es más generosa. El absentismo por enfermedad es más alto en empresas con mayor número de trabajadores. A modo de ejemplo, la tasa de absentismo de 2010 fue del 2,3% en las empresas más pequeñas mientras que era del 5,8% en las más grandes. </abstract>
