<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En España operan alrededor de 1.700 empresas funerarias que emplean a unas 9.500 personas y facturan en torno a 1.600 millones de euros, según datos de la Asociación Nacional de Servicios Funerarios (Panasef). De esta recaudación, unos 775 millones proceden de las aseguradoras, que atendieron 246.629 fallecimientos en 2014, el 62,17 por 100 de los registrados en nuestro país, de acuerdo con la información publicada por Unespa en su última Memoria Social.</abstract>
