<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Nos enfrentamos en este artículo a una palabra que suena "extravagante, rara y espantosa" y que según muchos de los expertos se convertirá pronto en un vocablo tan aceptado como "internet". Blockchain es uno de los términos más misteriosos en materia de tecnología financiera. Nosotros mismos sólo conocíamos parte de su definición y aplicaciones antes de comenzar a trabajar en estas líneas y, siendo totalmente sinceros, el término había aparecido en conversaciones entre compañeros después de un partido de pádel, donde después de Blockchain llegaban la ciencia ficción y la filosofia para terminar con una charla sobre el bien y el mal. ¿Qué es Blockchain? "Simplemente" un registro de transacciones descentralizado.</abstract>
