As insurers expand into Asia and the Middle East, new regional hubs are emerging to allow greater proximity to clients. A number of issues, however, are a potential concern, not just for the emerging hubs, but for established ones like London and Bermuda. There's the coming exit of the U.K. from the European Union, proposed tax reform in the U.S., as well as concerns about protectionism and barriers to international trade.
