<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En Europa circulan más de quince millones de vehículos con gas como combustible; en España, su uso es muy reducido. Probablemente, por el desconocimiento de su funcionamiento y de sus ventajas. Los vehículos a gas, ya sea en su variante más extendida, gas licuado del petróleo (glp), o como gas natural comprimido (gnc), son vehículos bifuel, que utilizan gasolina y gas como combustible, más limpios y menos contaminantes frente a los habituales. Además, suponen una alternativa a los vehículos híbridos y eléctricos</abstract>
