<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El impuesto de sucesiones vuelve a estar en el foco de debate público una vez más. Aunque no tiene un gran potencial recaudatorio (aporta alrededor del 0,03% del PIB español), muchos lo consideran una doble imposición, ya que se paga por unos bienes por los que tus familiares ya tributaron. En contraposición, los defensores de seguir aplicándolo creen que desempeña un papel necesario en la redistribución de la riqueza, porque grava un patrimonio que se consigue sin esfuerzo por parte del heredero. El hecho de que haya muchas diferencias entre las diferentes Comunidades Autónomas alimenta aún más la polémica.</abstract>
