En Europa existen 2,8 millones de entidades de la economía social, donde un total de 13,6 millones de personas trabajan para afrontar los principales desafíos de nuestras sociedades. Abarcan una amplia gama de sectores, desde los servicios sociales y asistenciales hasta la vivienda, el ocio y la energía asequible, e incluyen cooperativas, mutualidades, asociaciones sin ánimo de lucro, fundaciones y empresas sociales</abstract>
