Drinking Driving Law and Practice also explains in clear language how samples are analysed. The technology involved in the Lion Intoximeter and the Camic devices is explored, as is the medical effect of alcohol on the human body. Important cases on duplicity and the provision of body fluid samples are included, as are the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1991. Also discussed are the alterations to this topic made by Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 and many ramifications of the House of Lords holding that P.A.C.E. section 69 applies to the breathalysers used at the police station</abstract>
