Using a balanced panel of administrative data from 2010 to 2016 and difference-in-differences methods, the research examines whether integrating nursing support into primary care improves compliance with recommended follow-up tests for type 2 diabetes patients over 65. Results show that patients whose general practitioners collaborate with NOCs exhibit significantly higher adherence to clinical guidelines, particularly in the first two years after implementation.
