<abstract>The market for financial services is continuing its strong growth (15% in 2005), but this rising tide has not lifted all boats equally. Achieving strong revenue growth separates a small group of `Premier Performers' from the rest of financial services industry, while efficient cost and capital management, which many `Market Performers' are focused on, are necessary but not sufficient to guarantee outperformance. As a consequence of their superior performance over the past five years, the Premier Performers have increased their share of the financial services industry¿s market value from 6% to 9%, taking over 260 BN of value from the rest of the industry.</abstract>
