<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Estudios toxicológicos y experimentaciones de extinción relativas a los agentes extintores gaseosos, las cuales muestran que los riesgos de intoxicación se deben principalmente a los productos de descomposición tóxicos, tales como el CO2, los ácidos cianhídrico, clorhídrico, fluorhídrico, etc., o asfixiantes, tales como el CO2, expandidos en la atmósfera por la combustión. Se recomiendan el uso de aparatos respiratorios autónomos, la ventilación de los locales después de la extinción y verificar la composición de la atmósfera antes de autorizar la entrada a los locales en los que se han usado extintores gaseosos</abstract>
