<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Les auteurs ont étudié la fonction pulmonaire de 1157 travailleurs de 10 entreprises de l'industrie du meuble et du contreplaqué utilisant des bois de feuillus ou de résineux. Ils décrivent leur protocole d'étude et leur méthode d'analyse des résultats. Leur conclusion est que les travailleurs les plus exposés ont statistiquement plus de chances que les travailleurs les moins exposés de présenter une diminution des débits pulmonaires: deux ou trois fois plus dans le cas des bois durs, et deux à quatre fois plus dans le cas des résineux</abstract>
