<abstract displayLabel="Summary">755 sujets du milieu agricole de la Meuse ont été étudiés du point de vue respiratoire et allergologique en 1988. Chaque sujet a fait l'objet d'un interrogatoire par un questionnaire sur les symptômes respiratoires, les habitudes tabagiques, les activites professionnelles et les risques respiratoires, de tests fonctionnels et de tests cutanés. En conclusion cette étude met en évidence une prévalence non-négligeable des symptômes respiratoires et altérations fonctionnelles dans une population agricole du nord-est de la France. Il s'agit d'une population relativement âgée, soumise à des risques respiratoires de plus en plus complexes, dont le recours aux soins est incomplet et tardif. Les actions de dépistage du type repport plus haut ont une place de choix dans une politique de prévention efficace</abstract>
