Sumario: This study was set up to investigate whether work as a stoker is associated with an increased risk of specific malignant neoplasms. The aim of this study was to throw further light on the possible relation between inhalation exposure to combustion effluents and specific cancer sites. It seems likely that the ocupational exposure of stokers has contributed to their excess cancer mortality
