<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En los últimos treinta años, el peso de las exportaciones sobre el PIB en España se ha situado, de forma prácticamente constante, diez puntos por debajo de la media comunitaria. Esta diferencia se podría deber, en parte, a las peculiaridades financieras de su industria. Con la intención de comprobar este hecho, los autores analizan la situación y los costes financieros de la industria española en comparación con las de otros países y, dado que una industria está compuesta por sectores con características muy diversas, analizan también si las diferencias observadas en su conjunto se mantienen al comparar entre los distintos sectores que la integran</abstract>
