Notas: Sumario: Two commercially available portable direct-reading respirable-dust monitors have been tested in a laboratory calm air chamber against a range of airborne dusts. Relative to concentrations measured with the MRE 113A horizontal elutriator the instruments showed a variable degree of agreement, and could be influenced both by particle size distribution and by particle composition.
