An ability to predict the responses of workers using protective clothing would be very useful. Predictions were made of work times at 21ºC of 15 subjects performing prolonged hard work while wearing protective clothing, based upon prior measures of short-duration bench stepping in protective clothing and heart rate responses</subfield>
