Each month, "Safety & health" interviews an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of safety, health or the environment. This month the spotlight is on Mark Butler, president of the Minerva Education Institute, a not-for-profit organization whose administrative function is housed at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Butler also is a professor in the Department of Management, College of Business Administration at San Diego State University. The Minerva Education Institute is an organization whose primary goal is the development of training materials for use in colleges and schools of business that help make managers of the future more knowledgeable about occupational safety and health issues in this country
