<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Un material convenientemente diseñado o tratado puede dar cumplimiento en origen a las actuales exigencias reglamentarias en cuanto a su clasificación al fuego. Sin embargo, se carece hoy de garantías acerca de la conservación en le tiempo, e incluso comprobación, de tales propiedades al estar sometido a condiciones de conservación y uso. En este trabajo se analizan los efectos de la acción de operaciones básicas de envejecimiento acelerado sobre el comportamiento en su reacción al fuego de materiales textiles, atendiendo a los factores condicionantes de tal comportamiento en cuanto a las características del sustrato textil, del ignifugante y del tipo de ignifugado, a través del mecanismo de reacción al fuego</abstract>
