Statistical lives refer to a situation in which ex post unindentified pesons are subject when the risk upon a whole population is reduced an an unidentified person is saved. Interventions from government, or other parts of the public sector, that save lives will be termed lifesaving interventions. In the present article the authors report cost-effectiveness data for a large number of lifesaving interventions in Sweden</dc:description>
