<abstract>En el presente trabajo, sobre una muestra de 233 empresas, se estudia la relación entre las características psicológicas del propietario-directivo de la PYME y su comportamiento emprendedor. Concretamente se analizan las siguientes características: control interno, necesidad de logro, propensión a la asunción de riesgos y tolerancia sobre la ambigüedad. Los resultados indican que las empresas más emprendedoras están dirigidas por individuos de elevado control internos, alta necesidad de logro y buena tolerancia sobre la ambigüedad</abstract>
