<abstract>Este artículo recoge la ponencia de Julio Corrochano Peña,  Jefe Superior de Policía de Madrid, en las I Jornadas Técnicas de Seguridad. El autor analiza la delincuencia cometida por grupos o bandas organizadas, explicando sus tendencias actuales y los tipos más importantes de delitos que cometen como son: trafico de seres humanos, robos con fuerza en establecimientos (alunizajes), estafa bancaria, falsificación de cheque o pagaré, fraudes mediante banca telefónica e Internet, fraudes a las entidades de crédito (financiación fraudulenta de vehículos), timo de "los billetes tintados", y blanqueo de capitales. Además el autor analiza la delincuencia extranjera en España</abstract>
