<abstract>Los españoles a la hora de seleccionar el destino de sus ahorros se inclinan, normalmente, hacia productos financieros y de seguros. Los autores recogen en este artículo los cambios de tendencia en la elección entre unos u otros productos desde 1995 hasta el año 2001 concluyendo dicho análisis extrayendo y comentando las principales conclusiones obtenidas que permiten explicar los cambios de dicha tendencia en las preferencias a lo largo de éstos últimos seis años</abstract>
