<abstract>Desde hace unos años el negocio de los seguros colectivos está "arañando" parte del protagonismo que tenían los productos individuales en el ramo de Salud. Tanto es así que, en alguna de las principales aseguradoras, este segmento del negocio tiene crecimientos anuales del 30 por ciento. Varias son las causas de ese despunte, por un lado, el Gobierno está favoreciendo fiscalmente ese tipo de productos y, por el otro, las empresas están extendiendo este beneficio social a toda la plantilla. Sin olvidar que están surgiendo nuevas oportunidades de negocios, como la que se crea con la libre circulación de trabajadores o la asistencia a las personas mayores cuando se apruebe la Ley de Dependencia.
