<abstract>Los mercados bursátiles, y entre ellos el español, constituyen uno de los factores fundamentales de la globalización debido a la modificación de los hábitos financieros de los agentes y de los sectores económicos. Por un lado las familias han cambiado su patrimonio financiero, otorgando un protagonismo creciente a los intrumentos de inversión colectiva y a las acciones; por otro lado, las empresas han recurrido al mercado bursátil de forma creciente, registrando cifras sin precedentes. En este artículo se estudian estos fenómenos, prestando especial atención al cambio en la estructura financiera de las empresas y su crecimiento hacia el exterior, junto con el papel del mercado bursátil y las ampliaciones con contraprestación no monetaria</abstract>
