<abstract>La reciente ampliación de la Unión Europea hacia el Este representa aún para Epaña la oportunidad de incrementar unos vínculos comerciales bilaterales escasos hasta la fecha, lo cual es debido a la reducida presencia de la empresa española en los antiguos países del bloque soviético. No obstante, el potencial de crecimiento del comercio entre ambas zonas depende en gran medida del grado de complementariedad comercial mutuo, por lo que deviene indispensable su examen para tratar de inferir conclusiones sobre los sectores más proclives al avance en los flujos de intercambio entre ambas regiones</abstract>
