<abstract>Las nuevas normas de Solvencia II y Basilea II van a acarrear un ajuste en los criterios de suficiencia de capital en el mercado español. No se trata de cúanto capital utilizar sino cómo hacerlo de forma eficiente. Y aquí es donde el reaseguro debe volver a tener un papel importante y aportará una faceta nueva a la industria del seguro al convertirse en un mitigador de riesgo y fuente alternativa de financiación externa</abstract>
