It provides a review of the main structural trends in the regional market (penetration, density, depth and the market performance index) for the 2009-2019 period, as well as an update of the Latin American and Caribbean Insurance Protection Gap estimates and a breakdown of each of the markets analyzed. Finally, the report includes information regarding the economic environment in which the market was immersed in 2019, and the economic estimates expected after the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which without a doubt will mark the future behavior of the insurance sector</abstract>
