It also offers a review of the main structural trends of the regional market (penetration, density, deepening and market evolution index) during the period 2010-2020, as well as an update of the estimate of the Insurance Protection Gap in Latin America and the Caribbean and a breakdown of each of the markets analyzed. This edition is of particular interest insofar as it analyzes the performance of the insurance sector in a year marked by the economic and social impact of the Covid-19 pandemic</abstract>
