<abstract>La complejidad técnica de las actividades preventivas a desarrollar por las empresas y las características del tejido empresarial han determinado que una gran parte de los empresarios tengan suscritos conciertos con un Servicio de Prevención Ajeno. Estos entran en escena cuando el empresario desea organizar los recursos necesarios para el desarrollo de actividades preventivas, y además ofrecen y ejercen una función social como contibuyentes a la mejora de la calidad de vida de los trabajadores, colaborando en la reducción de accidentes y enfemedades profesionales</abstract>
