<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La crisis, en combinacion con otros dos dos factores clave, ha contribuido a acentuar la caída de cartera en el ramo de vida. Como se explica en este trabajo, en el que se analiza también el coste del recate, dichos factores son: la equiparación de la tributación del seguro de vida con la de otros activos financieros introducida en la reforma del IRPF de 2007; y el importante proceso de reestructuración de los pasivos de las entidades de crédito, a juicio del autor., "necesitadas de liquidez y que han inducido a la sustitución de seguros de vida por productos financieros sujetos a la misma tributación y con una aparente rentabilidad superios, al no tomarse en cuenta las importantes pérdidas implícitas en las penalizaciones, siendo los mayores perjudicados los asegurados</abstract>
