<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Tras los excelentes resultados registrados por la economía española durante el proceso de recuperación cíclica, los datos más recientes parecen apuntar hacia un cierto debilitamiento de este proceso expansivo como resultado de un entorno internacional menos favorable y sujeto a múltiples riesgos. En el presente artículo hemos tratado de recoger los aspectos más relevantes de la situación actual y las perspectivas inmediatas de la economía española, considerando tanto la evolución de la economía internacional como nuestros propios condicionantes idiosincráticos, y tratando de cuantificar las posibilidades de sufrir, a corto plazo, una nueva recesión.</abstract>
