<abstract>Los edificios de reciente construcción se ejecutan con la "Norma Básica de la Edificación, Condiciones de Protección contra incendios en los edificios", NBE-CPI-96. Sin embargo, existen edificios anteriores a la primera norma NBE-CPI-82 que no están diseñados con los nuevos conceptos de seguridad; el presente artículo aborda cómo debe realizarse el Plan de Evaluación y Emergencia para dichos casos, aunque también es válido para el resto de edificios</abstract>
