<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El sistema de pensiones públicas se halla en un estado crítico. El déficit estructural de la Seguridad Social se eleva a 20.000 millones de euros y, por desgracia, todo apunta a que seguirá aumentando con el paso del tiempo. La demografía española no engaña: actualmente contamos con dos trabajadores por pensionista, pero en apenas tres décadas habrá solo uno. Es decir, no será posible mantener las actuales condiciones de acceso a la jubilación a menos que se carguen mucho más las tintas sobre los trabajadores. Una vez que reconozcamos la imposibilidad de que los trabajadores coticen por encima de lo que ya lo hacen, inevitablemente deberemos plantearnos qué alternativas existen al desastroso sistema de pensiones estatales.</abstract>
