<abstract>El sector de la construcción continúa siendo uno de los más expansivos, según el informe que el ITeC (www.itec.es) elabora para Euroconstruct sobre el mercado español. En 2001 registró un crecimiento del 5,1%. Para los expertos, es difícil que en los próximos años se puedan mantener estos ritmos, no sólo por la atonía económica general esperada, sino también por la relativa saturación de algunos mercados de la construcción, particularmente el de la edificación residencial. Las previsiones apuntan a crecimientos del 2,5% para 2002, del 1% para 2003 y del 1,5% para 2004. Cuadro: el sector de la construcción en Europa (1999-2004)</abstract>
