<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En el Estudio de APCAS 'Informe de la 1ª Encuesta sobre el estado de los Neumáticos', editado el año 2013, se destacaba, entre otros hechos relevantes, que nada menos que un 12,55% de los vehículos inspeccionados "in situ" en los distintos talleres de toda la geografía nacional por peritos de APCAS (la encuesta fue realizada sobre un universo de 1.263 vehículos) utilizaban neumáticos no aptos. Todo ello atendiendo solo al nivel de desgaste de los mismos y no entrando a juzgar otros factores también muy influyentes respecto a la posible consideración como tales, como son deformaciones, fisuras, desconchados o caducidad de los mismos.</abstract>
