<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Según los últimos datos obtenidos de la Estadística de Seguros en sus cifras de avances para 1990, las primas del Seguro Directo en España ascendían a 1.69 billones de pesetas. En el período de cinco años transcurrido, las primas de Seguro Directo en España han crecido por encima de 24 por 100 anual acumulativo, crecimiento que sitúa al Sector Asegurador entre los punteros y que ha atraído hacia el mismo una fuerte corriente inversora tanto nacional como trasnacional y tanto del campo asegurador como de otros ámbitos, como puede ser el bancario, industrial, etcétera, lo que en definitiva ha redundado también en una mayor atención hacia el sector no sólo desde la administración, sino también desde los medios de opinión , que han contribuido a configurar una determinada imagen de dinamismo sobre el seguro en general y algunas entidades en particular</abstract>
