<abstract displayLabel="Summary">L'année 2014 reste à date comme la plus chaude qu'ait connue la Terre depuis l'existence de relevés de température. Clin d'oeil ironique de l'histoire, 2015 sera celle du climat avec la grande conférence environnementale des Nations Unies (Paris Climat 2015 ou COP21) qui se tiendra à Paris du 30 novembre au 11 décembre. Tout au long de l'année, L'Argus de l'assurance suivra la préparation de ce «sommet de la dernière chance» qui doit déboucher sur un accord historique entre les États afin de limiter le réchauffement climatique en deçà du seuil fatidique des 2° C. D'autant que le secteur financier, avec l'assurance au premier rang, jouera un rôle primordial en matière d'investissement «vert», de développement durable, de responsabilité sociétale de l'entreprise (RSE). Au plan technique également : en IARD, les résultats des assureurs sont et seront de plus en plus chahutés par la charge croissante des événements climatiques. Au-delà d'une politique de gestion de leurs actifs plus «verte», les assureurs devront aussi s'entourer de solutions pérennes  tarifaires, réassurantielles, préventives , les protégeant efficacement contre les mini-catastrophes naturelles comme contre les gros périls climatiques</abstract>
