Sumario: lndia's National Health Policy 2017 aims to deliver quality universal healthcare through preventive and promotive infrastructure. The new policy raises public expenditure on healthcare to 2.5% of GDP from the present 1.2%. lt promotes public-private partnership model to achieve this target and lays a greater emphasis on digital and cloud technology. The lndian health insurance industry can be a game changer in this scheme of things. Will it accept the challenge and deliver?
