<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El reaseguro siempre está a prueba. Cada año se hace frente a numerosos desafíos; este, además, parece que sumará un final de ciclo con grandes catástrofes que podrían estrechar aún más los márgenes, pasar factura al mercado alternativo e incluso forzar aumentos en las tasas. El reaseguro cumple y lo hace en los peores escenarios posibles. Los expertos consultados por esta revista reconocen sin embargo que, posiblemente, este año se verá afectada la cuenta de resultados, que seguirá la tendencia hacia la concentración y las fusiones en el mercado y que, quizás, habrá que adaptarse con nuevos productos a todo lo que quieren los nuevos consumidores, incluso reposicionándose en el mercado. En España, el baremo es la principal preocupación para un sector que observa grandes desafíos por su entorno global e interconectado.
